Two of the fifteen selected LGU-sharers nationwide hailed from Central Visayas to impart success stories in the DILG-OPDS-initiated event, the Kwentong Tagumpay 2023, a platform for learning the latest technological and practical innovations in local infrastructure governance.
The Kwentong Tagumpay conference is a venue to learn and showcase unique, inventive, and practical developments in the delivery of LGUs’ basic services in five project areas namely: Water Supply and Sanitation, Local Roads, Disaster Risk Reduction and Vertical Infrastructure, Local Economic Enterprises and Urban Development and Smart Governance.
Board Member Glenn Anthony O. Soco of the 6th District of the Cebu Province, presenter on Local Economic Enterprise conveyed Cebu’s strategic position in exemplifying revenues through local economic enterprises ranging from water supply, transportation facilities, food parks through Sugbu Sentro housing small and medium enterprises and real property partnership ventures among others.
