Knights of Rizal (KOR) DILG-7 Chapter commander Director Leocadio Trovela was given the coveted Distinguished Service Medal (DSM) Award for his exceptional service to the Order on Saturday, March 25, at the Regional Office in Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City.
Aside from the distinguished recognition, the KOR DILG Chapter continues to widen as seven new personnel underwent knighthood on the same day, namely: Sir Jesus Robel Sastrillo, Jr.; KR; Sir Archie Garson, KR; Sir Charles Albert Caayaman, KR; Sir Alfredo Rias, KR; Sir Roland Marquez, KR; Sir Roland Gonzales, KR, and; Sir Norman Contado, Jr., KR.
Also 10 brother knights from the DILG-7 chapter were elevated to the second-degree Knight Officer of Rizal, namely: Deputy Chapter Commander Sir Ian Kenneth Lucero, KOR; Chapter Chancellor Sir Rommel Correa, KOR; Deputy Chapter Chancellor Sir Jude Anthony Diaz, KOR; Chapter Pursuivant Michael Eltanal, KOR; Deputy Chapter Pursuivant Sir Jerson Obo, KOR; Chapter Exchequer Sir Jerome Gonzales, KOR; Deputy Chapter Exchequer Sir Ronnel Atuel, KOR; Chapter Archivist Sir Celerino Magto, Jr., KOR; Deputy Chapter Archivist Sir Jupiter Dawa, KOR, and; Chapter Auditor Sir Anson Baroro, KOR.
