The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-7 and its attached agencies set up booths highlighting their programs, projects and initiatives in the NEO Orientation Course: Primed Leaders for Renewed Local Governance, which kicked off Thursday, September 22, 2022, in Cordova, Cebu.
DILG Regional Director Leocadio Trovela signaled the opening of the LGRRC Exhibit together with DILG-7 Assistant Regional Director Maria Loisella Lucino, Provincial Director Atty. Ian Kenneth Lucero, League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP)-Cebu president Mayor Sun Shimura, LMP vice president for external affairs Mayor Lissa Marie Streegan, LMP secretary Mayor Pablo John Garcia IV, and LMP-Siquijor president Mayor Richard Quezon.
Also present are personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection-7, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-7, and the Police Regional Office-7
The NEO Orientation course for Region 7 municipal mayors runs from September 22 to 23.
