Regional Management and Coordinating Committee-7 convenes today to discuss updates on the inter-agency efforts and initiatives in ending communist armed-conflict in Central Visayas.
DILG-7 Director Leocadio Trovela, who also sits as the chairman of RMCC-7, welcomed and thanked DILG Undersecretary for Barangay Affairs Martin Diño for gracing the activity.
Part of the discussion were updates on the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP), Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP), Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP), and mainstreaming of the Barangaynihan Caravan to champion and promote the achievements and legacies of the Duterte administration in the region.
Also present during the meeting were National Police Commission-7 Director Jose Concepcion Jr, PBGen. Roque Eduardo DP Vega of Police Regional Office-7, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-7 Director Levi Ortiz, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-7 Assistant Regional Director JSSUPT. Renante Rubio, Bureau of Fire and Protection-7 representative Cebu City Fire Director FCINSP. Josephus Alburo, COL. Jerry Borja of Task Group-Cebu, Bohol, and Siquijor, Acting Administrative/Finance Head Aurangzeb Ali of National Commission on Muslim Filipinos-7, and PCOL. Marlon Quimno of Regional Training Center-7.
The RMCC-7 also welcomed PBGen. Vega who was recently installed as the new director of PRO-7.
Personnel of DILG-7 Local Monitoring and Evaluation Division, headed by Atty. Ian Kenneth Lucero and other staff of the regional office provided secretariat and technical support during the meeting.
