The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG-7) conducted a Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Table Assessment Plan to Highly Urbanized Cities (HUCs) from June 30 to July 1, 2021, at the Golden Prince Hotel & Suites in Cebu City.

The two-day activity spearheaded by DILG-7 through the Regional CDP Technical Assessment Committee (TAC) was participated by cities of Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu and Cebu.

DILG-7 Regional Director Leocadio Trovela graced the opening day and delivered his message to the participating LGUs and the regional line agencies, namely: DBM-7, NEDA-7, DOH-7, DOT-7, DSWD-7, DPWH-7 and DHSUD-7.

Activities conducted were discussions on the mechanics of the CDP Table Assessment, assessment of HUC’s CDP and presentation of the assessment result, and an open forum. The HUCs were represented by City Planning and Development Coordinators and CPDO staff. Day 1 was for the cities of Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu, while the second day was for Cebu City.
